Grichte is Flemish dialect for 'sound, murmur, noise' and is part of Karen Willems' Terre Sol. With this project, the Belgian drummer and percussionist embarks on a quest to turn inwards. The result is an auditory play that moves back and forth between organic seeking and playful turmoil, where man, machine and nature keep on interacting in constantly transforming constellations.

Grichte presents a broad and adventurous sound: open, exciting, alternately subtle and powerful. At the same time it fits perfectly into the mission of searching, feeling and letting go again, the spontaneous game with adventure and connection as the thread.
