In the way that a year is made up of small, everyday moments, Repair Techniques is a trove of delicate movements that coalesce into an awe-inspiring panorama of catharsis and beauty.
The Danish duo Sofie Birch and Johan Carøe built all tracks over two improvised live sessions, recording them on a Roland Juno-60, Moog Sub 37, and Roland XP 30 in Copenhagen in 2019. The tracks were further edited and reworked into 11 tracks during a residency at Andersabo in Sweden over the summer of 2020, with new recordings of acoustic elements incorporated.
