Tolouse Low Trax is the solo project of Detlef Weinrich, who is also a member of Kreidler and resident DJ at Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs. On the 38-minute Jumping Dead Leaves, Detlef Weinrich sticks to his minimalist formula, using one MPC, rudimentary synths, few effects, a mixer and mainly relying on one takes. A significant distance from Weinrich’s early industrial inspirations.
