In 2026, we’ll host concerts in the store once a month, on Sunday afternoons.
The first is on January 18, with Memotone and Roméo Poirier.
If you’re thinking of coming, let us know.
Memotone is an alias of Will Yates, a composer and musician working across genres and approaches. His live sets move through a loose interplay of composition and improvisation, drawing from jazz, folk, contemporary classical, ambient, and esoteric traditions.
Working with archival recordings and found sound, Roméo Poirier builds carefully constructed miniatures, hovering between documentation and composition. Fragments are cut, reshaped, slowed down, and reassembled into dense, interlocking forms. His music listens closely to what usually stays in the background.
