Continuing our exploration of the cyclical nature of life and the rhythms of nature, we invite you to join us in celebrating the spring edition of our Seasonal Diary series. We invite Kate Carr and Law of Glances to perform during the evening, marking this transition with their sonic presence.
about kate carr
Kate Carr's practice is centered on investigating the relationship between the soundscapes we collectively create and how we experience our shared public spaces. She works across composition, performance, and installation. Everything from vibrations caused by cars and footfalls, to overheard murmurs, public speeches, music in public space, and the roar of distant sporting events has found its way into her compositions, and live performances.

Sophia Abderazzak and Antony Lauret are Law of Glances. With their debut release Fountain of Nothing, they share a haunting 8-track cassette that combines sung and spoken words with abstract instrumental pieces. Their music navigates the spaces between holes and paragraphs, intersected with icy vocals and spacious melodies.
