why we love this
Fuzzy contemplations whose graininess and intimately rendered vocals lend a tender hand in the investigation of what lies beneath LA Timpa’s sonic magnifying glass.
about the record
Pity by One All Good Treasure acts as a subconscious effort to understand the vast nature of death, erotica, devotion, ailment, wilful change and the nature of man and life. These themes are explored as micro environments wherein the music lives. The collection of songs serve intentionally as what lives under that. The album has been described as ‘ghostly’. which in some ways exemplifies LA Timpa’s observations when drawing inspiration from how fluid and abrupt sounds come, go and mix with one another in the wildness, isolation and populated environments.
