about the cd

The meaning of “Sanatorium” is an establishment or facility offering usually long-term medical care or treatment. This album is very personal musical work by Ryosuke Miyata, Non-Binary musician living in Kanagawa, Japan. He juggles the roles of a musician and an office worker, but he has a history of mental illness, psychosomatic disease, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and schizophrenia due to overwork.

His feelings get hurt in working with organization but creations are the heart’s nourishment. “Sanatorium” is the medical treatment record by himself. In other words, the method of maintaining a balance between work and his personal feelings.
