Objects and Sounds - Events 2026 - May

This May, soo:k comes from Berlin to Ghent to spend two weeks in our space, with time to try things out and explore new directions.

On Sunday the 17th, she’ll share a live set coming out of that time here. Intuitive, open-ended, and a little unpredictable.

If you’d like to join us, let us know.

    soo:k

soo:k makes music that moves through texture, rhythm, and atmosphere with a sound that feels intimate, curious, and slightly otherworldly. There’s a sense of play in her work, but also a strong feeling for shape and detail.

Her debut album Orchadia, released on SWIMS, touches on impossible fruit, uncanny astronomy, and lush spaces in between.

    Anenon

Anenon is the project of Los Angeles-based composer, producer, and saxophonist Brian Allen Simon. His music carries a raw, immediate quality, as if it’s being formed as it unfolds. You hear it in the blurred textures, sustained tones, and softened contours.

    Damian Dalla Torre

Damian Dalla Torre is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer based in Leipzig. His work often starts from acoustic playing, then gets gently bent, layered or blurred through production, giving it a fluid, slightly weightless feel. Rather than sitting neatly in one genre, his music lets jazz language, electronic texture and ambient space move through each other naturally.
