about the record

Tremor is Silva's first album, a collaboration between artist and performer Moa Franzen and artist and music producer Magnus Dahl. With the clarinet as its leading voice, supported by cello, synthesizers, and drum machines, they build a soundscape at the intersection of several genres, weaving together influences from dance music, jazz, and ambient.

The album moves between intimacy and expansiveness, from brittle melodies that almost whisper to pulsating, dubbed rhythms that open up the room. The music is both playful and serious, both physical and dreamy—a series of movements rather than songs, with each track feeling like a step deeper into Silva's world. Tremor is an exploration of vibrations, physicality, and spatiality, where acoustic and electronic elements meet and reinforce one another.

The result is a warm, organic, yet experimental whole that invites the listener to linger, listen further, and let themselves be shaken—albeit gently.
