"I believe in leaving ample room for listeners to interpret the album. Fiat Lux revolves around introspection and is the result of notes and sketches I started making during this peculiar period when the world abruptly ground to a halt.

The title ('Let there be light') alludes to a sense of hope and positivity, as well as to the early morning walks I began taking at that time.

Each piece is intimately connected with a very specific moment and place. This makes it akin to a compressed journal spanning over multiple years.

Fiat Lux marks my first solo release since Six Pieces for Guitar in 2016. Processed guitar and field recordings remain my primary sound sources."
