Music for Horses I & II arrives on vinyl through a collaboration between Buenos Aires label Sonôsfera, Berlin’s Danzee, and Chemnitz-based EX:IN | IN:EX. Inspired by a horse-related accident, the record is split into two parts. Side B was recorded prior to the accident, which deeply marked Primeiro’s life, while side A was composed in the period that followed.
Unsettling the boundaries between the human and the non-human is woven into the fabric of Primeiro’s practice. This runs through both the album and his project Feed the River, a festival where music is made in collaboration with bodies of water.
