'QUADRIC SURFACES' by iconic electronic producer Hieroglyphic Being, aka Jamal R Moss, collects the soundtracks he composed for "Parallel Spheres" and "Figures in Mynd," two parts of an abstract animation film by Gabriela González Rondon. Premiered in October 2023 at Videodroom during Film Festival Ghent, the film showcases surreal and trippy analog filmmaking, drawing universes of movement and color reminiscent of Ursula K. Le Guin and John Whitney.
